Vision
In support of Egypt’s 2030 strategic plan, our vision is to enrich the quality of research in the field of ICT and BIG Data via being up to date with the recent technology in Cloud Computing and GP_GPU for AI and High Performance computing. Also, we aim to empower the department members with state of the art technology in ICT direction.
Mission
he department is supervising an edge technology data center equipped with the state of the art HW and SW technology for Cloud Computing services such as: IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS. Hosting a DB for Managing the Central labs of SRTA Security as a service Storage as a service ..etc. Many studies are conducted to minimize energy usage in cloud data centers. Moreover, other researches are focused on improving the performance of cloud and HPC services.
